1 1/2 cups shortening
2 cups brown sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup molasses
4 cups flour
4 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cloves
2 teaspoons cinnamon
2 teaspoons ginger

Recipe Directions for GINGER MOLASSES COOKIES

  1. CREAM SHORTENING AND SUGAR

  2. ADD EGGS AND MOLASSES

  3. ADD DRY INGREDIENTS

  4. PLACE COOKIES ON SHEET. IF NOT FROSTING COOKIES PRESS DOWN WITH GLASS DIPPED IN SUGAR

  5. BAKE AT 325 DEGREES CHECK AFTER 10 MINS.
