Recipe Ingredients for Ginger Molasses Cake

2 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 cup ground flax seed
2 tsp ground ginger
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup molasses
1/4 cup corn syrup
2 egg whites
2/3 cup water
100 g Golden Harvest Margarine sodium reduced

Recipe Directions for Ginger Molasses Cake

Mix dry ingredients and cholesterol free spread in your mixer until it looks like coarse crumbs - heat molasses, and syrup ( I used golden syrup but there is no golden syrup in this database so I substituted corn in recipe for calories) in a pan, add egg whites and water. Add to dry mixture until well mixed, put in pan and back at 180C/350F until toothpick entered into centre of cake comes back clean.
