Easy to adjust. Potato starch may be used in place of corn starch.

Recipe Ingredients for Ginger glazed carrots

3 1/2 cups raw carrots, sliced diagonally
1 tbs sugar
1 tbs corn starch
1/8 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/2 cup orange juice
1 tbs butter

Recipe Directions for Ginger glazed carrots

  1. Steam carrots 3-4 minutes, reserve cooking liquid.

  2. Cook remaining ingredients into a sauce, stirring well. Add more orange juice if desired. Stir the steamed carrots into the sauce. Add some of reserved cooking liquid to thin sauce if desired.
