Recipe Ingredients for Ginger Crinkle Cookies

2/3 cup vegetable oil
1 cup white sugar
1 egg
1/4 cup molasses
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp ginger
1/8 cup white sugar, for dipping

Recipe Directions for Ginger Crinkle Cookies

  1. Mix oil w 1 cup sugar.

  2. Add egg & beat well

  3. Stir in molasses.

  4. Add dry ingredients & beat until mixed

  5. Drop by teaspoon into sugar (roll around)

  6. place on greased cookie sheet

  7. Bake 350 for 9 minutes.

  8. Tops should start to crackel but look slightly undercooked. Will firm while cooling.
