Recipe Ingredients for Ginger Cake

1/2 c. honey
1/4 c. olive oil
1 egg
1 tbsp. candied ginger
3/4 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Recipe Directions for Ginger Cake

  1. combine honey, olive oil, egg yoke and chopped candied ginger.

  2. sift together flour, baking powder, and salt.

  3. whip egg white until soft peaks form

  4. combine honey mixture with flour mixture until combined.

  5. fold in egg whites

  6. bake 35 mins at 350 degrees
