Recipe Ingredients for ginger broccoli beef

1 c 1% milk
2 tbsp cornstarch
1/4 c soy sauce
1 tbsp honey
1 tsp chili peppers
1 tbsp grapeseed oil
3/4 lbs lean beef
1 onion
6 c. broccoli
2 tbsp grated ginger
2 tbsp lemon juice

Recipe Directions for ginger broccoli beef

  1. in a small bowl whisk a little of the milk into cornstarch to make a smooth paste. Whisk in remaining milk, soy sauce, honey, and pepper flakes. Set aside

  2. Heat wok or large skillet over high heat. Add half oil and swirl to coat. Add beef and stirfry for 3 min. or until browned; transfer to a bowl. Add remaining oil to pan. Add onion and stirfry for 1 min. Add broccoli and ginger and stirfry for 5 min. or until broccoli is tender crisp.

  3. Return beef and accumulated juices to pan. Whisk milk mixture and pour into pan. Cook stirring and scraping up brown bits for about 2 min or until thickened. Stir in lemon juice. Prep time 15 to 20 min. Cook time 20 min.
