Ginger beef with no deep frying - so much healthier.

Recipe Ingredients for Ginger Beef

24 oz top sirloin steaks, trimmed of all fat, and cut into thin strips
1 can beef consomme, prepared with equal parts water
6 oz beer
3 tbsp ginger, minced
3 tbsp garlic, minced
1 tbsp chili paste
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tbsp sesame oil
4 tbsp cornstarch

Recipe Directions for Ginger Beef

  1. Cut all beef into thin strips.

  2. Combine all ingredients together in a big bowl and let sit overnight or at least 2 hours.

  3. After marinating, then put entire bowl of ingredients into a large frying pan and simmer until the beef is cooked.

  4. Add 4 Tbsp cornstarch mixed with a little water and add to the mix. Let liquid come to a boil and thicken. Add more if you want it thicker. So yummy over rice noodles.
