Recipe Ingredients for Ginger Beef with Broccoli, Carrot, and Green Onions

1 lb Flank steak
3/4 c. cornstarch
1/2 c. water
2 eggs
1 large carrot
3 green onions
500 g broccoli
1/4 c fresh ginger (minced)
5 cloves garlic
3 tbs Canola Oil for frying
3 tbsp Soy Sauce
4 tbsp seasoned rice vinegar
1 tbsp Sesame Oil
1/4 c. sugar
3 tsp red pepper (hot) or 1 tsp (mild)

Recipe Directions for Ginger Beef with Broccoli, Carrot, and Green Onions

  1. Place cornstartch into a bowl and whisk in water,

  2. beat in eggs then add strips of meat. Toss to coat.

  3. Cook meat with oil in hot wok.

  4. Remove meat, leave 1 Tbsp oil in wok and add veggies in this order:

  5. carrots - onions - broccoli - ginger - garlic - stir briefly.

  6. Add sauce mixture and bring to boil.

  7. Add beef and heat thoroughly.
