Recipe Ingredients for Ginger Ale

3/4 cup Ginger - rough chop
1 cup Sugar - I would try agave
1 cup Sparkling water
1 ice

Recipe Directions for Ginger Ale

  1. Place ginger, sugar and 2C water in a saucepan; bring to boil. Lower heat and simmer for 10 minutes then remove and let cool.

  2. Strain syrup and store refrigerated for up to two weeks.

  3. To serve combine 2T or more to taste in a glass with ice and sparkling water. Garnish with lemon or lime wedge if desired.
