Recipe Ingredients for Giada's Lemon Spaghetti

0.67 cup Olive Oil
0.67 cup Parmesan, Grated Cheese
4 oz Juice
3/4 tsp Salt, Table
1/2 tsp Pepper, Black
16 oz Spaghetti, Dry, Enriched
0.33 cup leaves, whole Basil, Fresh

Recipe Directions for Giada's Lemon Spaghetti

  1. In large bowl, whisk together oil, Parmesan, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Set aside sauce. This sauce can be made ahead, covered and stored in refrigerator. Bring to room temperature before using.

  2. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain, reserving 1 cup of cooking water.

  3. Add spaghetti to lemon sauce.

  4. Add basil and lemon zest and toss.

  5. Add cooking water, 1/4c. at a time, to moisten pasta. Serve at once.
