Recipe Ingredients for Ghiya chana dal

2 cup Chickpeas (Garbanzo Beans, Bengal Gram), Mature Seeds
500 grams Gourd, White-flowered (Calabash)
150 grams Fresh Chopped Onions
2 small whole (2-2/5" dia) Tomatoes, Red, Ripe
2 tbsp Rice Bran Oil
9 cloves Garlic

Recipe Directions for Ghiya chana dal

  1. Boil chickpeas and chopped calabash together until the chickpeas trun mushy.

  2. In a separate wok fry onions. Add ginger garlic paste and fry again.

  3. Add tomatoes and cook till they become mushy.

  4. Add the cooked chickpea and calabash mixture.
