Recipe Ingredients for GF "Rice-A-Roni"

277 1/2 grams Rice, Brown, Long-grain
1.33 serving Great Value Frozen Carrots Crinkle Cut (April 2011)
2 serving Omega Natural Blend of Canola Soy and Olive Oils Oil
5 serving tyson premium chunk white chicken
1 serving dynasty sliced water chestnuts
1 large Onions
14 grams Chicken Instant Bouillon Granules Bouillon and Seasoning

Recipe Directions for GF "Rice-A-Roni"

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Break spaghetti into 1? pieces and bake in oven for about 10 minutes.

  2. 2. In a deep pan with a lid, heat butter and oil until bubbly. Add onions, carrots, and celery. Salt the vegetables to help them release their liquids and cook until onions are translucent.

  3. 3. Add the poultry seasoning, pepper and the dry rice and cook, stirring constantly until the rice is coated, about one minute.

  4. 4. Add the stock, bay leaves, and chicken, stir and cover. Bring to a boil then turn heat down to medium low and cook for 15 minutes.

  5. 5. If there is not enough fluid, add a 1/2 cup of water and continue cooking, covered until rice is done, about five more minutes. Remove bay leaves.
