Recipe Ingredients for German Style Potato-Parsnip Soup

4 large (3" to 4-1/4" dia.) Potatoes, Boiled
4 parsnip (9" long) Parsnips
1 cup, diced Celery
1 large Onions
48 grams Bacon
1 tbsp Marjoram, Dried
3 tsp Ginger Root
1 oz Bay Leaves
1 fl oz White Vinegar, Distilled, Organic
3 serving Sugar Light Brown
8 cup Chicken Stock

Recipe Directions for German Style Potato-Parsnip Soup

  1. Peel and Cut up potatoes and parsnips and boil to mash.

  2. Brown bacon, and add onions, celery, marjoram, bay, ginger, pepper, vinegar, brown sugar and cook until soft.

  3. Add mashed parsnips to soup pot with soft veggies and add stock.

  4. Mix and heat up then serve, serves 4-6.
