Pork chops in a light sauce with sauteed onions.

Recipe Ingredients for German Style Pork Chops

15 ounce Pork chops
1/2 cup beef broth
4 ounce light beer
1/8 cup flour
3 medium onions (sliced)
2 tbsp vegetable oil

Recipe Directions for German Style Pork Chops

  1. Heat oil in frying pan and add pork chops. Cook on each side for 3 minutes then add sliced onions. Cook for additional 5 minutes, turning pork chops once. Add beer and broth and bring to a boil. Simmer 15 minutes.

  2. Remove pork chops and put on platter. Add flour to thicken sauce and add any seasoning(s) to taste. Pour over pork chops and serve.
