These are German pancakes. Often also called eggcakes, because they contain quite a bit of eggs.

Recipe Ingredients for German Eggcakes

4 eggs
160 g flour
20 g sugar
1 pinch salt
250 ml milk

Recipe Directions for German Eggcakes

  1. Mix eggs, sugar, salt.

  2. Gradually add the flour.

  3. Once you've added all the flour start adding the milk.

  4. The batter will be very thin. Make thin pancakes in greased pan (oil or butter works).

  5. Serve with apple sauce, powder sugar, jam.....if you want to endulge with Nutella. It's a must win for kids and contains less sugar than other dessert alternatives.
