Recipe Ingredients for General Pasta

500 g pasta
500 g lamb, ground
4 tbsp tomato paste
3 cups water
2 slices salami
4 cloves garlic
1 tbsp olive oil
2 medium onions
2 tomatoes
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 tbsp lemon juice

Recipe Directions for General Pasta

  1. SAUCE

  2. Chop onions, garlic, salami and tomatoes.

  3. Pour olive oil in sauce-pan and cook onions and garlic till lightly golden.

  4. Add lamb and stir till lightly cooked.

  5. Add tomato paste and salami then stir till meat and tomato paste are combined.

  6. Now also add tomatoes, salt, and herbs/spices of your choice.

  7. Time for the liquids; add one cup of water. Then wait for a while, stir until some has evaporated.

  8. Now add the balsamic vinegar and lemon juice.

  9. Keep stirring and eventually add the rest of the water. You're now done with the sauce.

  10. PASTA

  11. Fill a pot half full of water.

  12. Boil the water.

  13. Add a pinch of salt.

  14. Now add all of the pasta and leave it to cook for about 10-20 minutes until the pasta is soft. Don't leave it for too long or it will turn out as dough.

  15. Drain the cooked pasta and then serve with the sauce and add cheese for extra texture.
