Makes 24 bars, I wrap individually for a quick snack, keep well in fridge or freezer, so good to make large batches.

Recipe Ingredients for Gary's Healthy Morning Bars

1 cup Jif creamy Peanut butter
1/2 cup Brown Sugar(packed)
1/2 cup Maple Syrup
1/2 cup Butter ,melted
3 tsp. Vanilla extract
1 tsp. Almond extract
3 1/2 cups Oats, Rolled, Regular Old Fashioned
1/2 cup flaked coconut
1/2 cup dry roasted peanuts, chopped
80 g dried bing cherries
1/2 cup Ghiradelli Double Chocolate Bittersweet Chips

Recipe Directions for Gary's Healthy Morning Bars

  1. preheat oven to 350.

  2. stir till smooth the 6 wet ing.

  3. add the last 5 dry Ing. stir till combined.

  4. spread into a greased 13 x 9 in pan.

  5. Bake till golden around edges.

  6. about 20 - 25 min.

  7. score bars and then cool completely.

  8. keep in fridge.
