Garlicky skin-on mashed potatoes.

Recipe Ingredients for Garlic Smashed Potatoes

2 lbs. red potatoes
1/8 cup butter
1 cup milk
2 cloves garlic

Recipe Directions for Garlic Smashed Potatoes

  1. Thoroughly wash all potatoes, and peel half of them.

  2. Cut potatoes into cubes (approximately 1")

  3. Finely mince 2 cloves of garlic. Set aside.

  4. Boil potatoes for 30-40 minutes *time may vary depending on size of your cubes. Potatoes are done when they are fork tender.

  5. Drain water, and return potatoes to bowl.

  6. Mash potatoes, slowly adding the milk and butter.

  7. Add salt and pepper to taste.
