36 one head garlic
4 tablespoons oil, olive
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 cup parsley leaves, fresh
2 anchovy fillets, rinsed and patted dry
2 tablespoons capers, rinsed
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Recipe Directions for Garlic Salsa Verde for Baked Chicken Thighs

  1. While oven preheats in step 1 of Oven-Roasted Chicken Thighs recipe (related), toss garlic cloves and 1 tablespoon oil in bowl. Cover bowl and microwave until garlic is softened, 2 to 5 minutes, stirring once halfway through. Place garlic in center of 12-inch square of aluminum foil.
