Recipe Ingredients for Garlic Roasted Chicken Thighs

4 serving (Smart Chicken) Chicken Thighs
4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. dried oregano
1/4 tsp. cumin
2 tbsp. olive oil
1 dash freshly ground black pepper
1/2 c. low sodium chicken broth

Recipe Directions for Garlic Roasted Chicken Thighs

  1. Preheat over to 400 F.

  2. Combine garlic, oregano, chili powder, cumin and black pepper. Add olive oil and grind with mortar and pestle or mash with fork until paste consistency.

  3. Wash chicken pieces and remove excess skin. Pat dry. Arrrange in baking dish, skin side up and pat garlic mixture over each. Pour chicken broth in baking dish.

  4. Bake for 40 to 50 minutes, or until juices run clear.
