Makes 16 servings



Makes huge flatbreads; if you cut them in half, you have a "real" serving. Experience says you shouldn't make them smaller; they turn out like pitas instead of like a rollable flatbread.

Recipe Ingredients for Garlic Potato Flatbread

2 cups water
1 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 cup potato flour
2 tsp yeast
4 1/2 cups flour
1 tbsp salt

Recipe Directions for Garlic Potato Flatbread

  1. Mix all in bread machine

  2. Divide into 8 balls

  3. Roll each ball out to 8x10"

  4. Heat oven with baking stone to 400 degrees

  5. Bake one at a time until golden brown and puffy, but still pliable (otherwise, you'll have a very large pita)
