I like my food garlicky so I usually add 4 cloves of garlic, plus garlic powder to taste

Recipe Ingredients for Garlic Mashed Potatoes

1 lb potatoes
2 cloves garlic
1 cup milk
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp butter

Recipe Directions for Garlic Mashed Potatoes

  1. Boil potatoes, skin on with garlic cloves until soft.

  2. Drain potatoes and cloves. Return back to pot.

  3. Mash while stirring in milk over medium heat.

  4. Add salt, pepper, garlic powder and butter to taste.
