approximately 2 new potatoes = 1 serving (1/2 cup)

Recipe Ingredients for Garlic Mashed New Potatoes

5 cloves garlic
1/4 tsp olive oil
6 new potatoes
1/2 tbsp butter
3 tbsp 1% milk
1 salt to taste
1 pepper to taste

Recipe Directions for Garlic Mashed New Potatoes

  1. Drizzle garlic cloves with oil.

  2. Wrap in aluminum foil and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

  3. Quarter potatoes and boil in water until tender.

  4. Drain, cool and chop.

  5. Stir in butter, milk, salt and pepper.

  6. Remove garlic from over and cut in half.

  7. Squeeze softened cloves into potatoes.

  8. Blend potatoes and garlic to desired consistency.
