Chickpeas cooked with olive oil, garlic salt, and basil. Very simple, but very tasty.

Recipe Ingredients for Garlic & herb chickpeas

4 cup Chickpeas (Garbanzo Beans, Bengal Gram), Mature Seeds, Canned
1/5 cup Olive Oil
2 tsp Garlic Salt
2 tsp, ground Basil, Dried

Recipe Directions for Garlic & herb chickpeas

  1. Soak beans for at least 24 hours.

  2. Cook beans on stove or in rice cooker or pressure cooker until 2/3 of the way cooked.

  3. Add olive oil, dried basil, and garlic salt, then cook the rest of the way.

  4. Drain and serve.
