Recipe Ingredients for Garlic Fried Vegetable Brown Rice

360 grams Rice, Brown, Medium-grain, Cooked
35 grams Cabbage
1 medium Egg, Whole
3/10 1tsp Olive Oil
25 grams Carrots
45 grams Squash, Summer, Zucchini, Includes Skin
10 grams Onions, Spring Or Scallions
1 tbsp Parsley
4 grams Celery
35 grams Mushrooms
25 grams Peas, Green
1 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp Paprika
1/4 tsp Barbecue Seasoning
0.13 tsp Salt
2 2/5 grams Regular Soy Sauce

Recipe Directions for Garlic Fried Vegetable Brown Rice

  1. Make sure brown rice is cold.

  2. In a non-stick frying pan, heat olive oil on medium heat.

  3. Beat one medium egg with 1/4 tsp garlic powder, paprika, and a dash of salt and omelet. Let cool. When cold, chop as desired and set aside.

  4. Chop vegetables finely as desired (I prefer julienning). Set aside half tbsp and half portion of onion from the rest of the vegetables.

  5. Sautee mushrooms on the same frying pan used to make egg omelet. When mushrooms are almost done, add all the other vegetables, the rest of the garlic powder, and the remaining salt and stirfry veggies til soft.

  6. Toss in rice and stir for five minutes.

  7. When heat is evenly distributed throughout the dish, add egg pieces and remove from heat. Toss in remaining spring onion and parsely and serve warm.

  8. Best eaten with jeon (veggie pancake or other dishes).
