Recipe Ingredients for Garlic Fennel Pork Shoulder Roast

6 pounds Bone-In Boston Butt Pork Roast
2 tbsp salt
2 tbsp pepper
1/2 cup Fennel
5 cloves garlic

Recipe Directions for Garlic Fennel Pork Shoulder Roast

  1. Cut small pockets into roast and insert garlic slices.

  2. In a small bowl combine salt, pepper, and chopped fennel fronds.

  3. Rub seasoning mixture into the roast.

  4. In heavy frying pan, brown both side of roast.

  5. Deglaze pan with 1/2 cup water and pour into slow cooker; add the roast.

  6. Cover and cook on HI for 4 to 6 hours.
