1 1/2 c bread crumbs, coarse fresh (from a baguette)
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley

  1. Prepare garlic-crumb topping while cassoulet finishes baking:
