Oriental Garlic Chicken Dish with Lo Mein Noodles

Recipe Ingredients for Garlic Chicken

5 tbsp canola oil
3 chicken breast
1 cup chopped raw onion
4 cloves garlic
1 cup waterchestnuts
5 tbsp hoisin sauce
4 oz cooked spaghetti

Recipe Directions for Garlic Chicken

  1. Heat Canola Oil in Wok or large skilletover med-high heat, then add cubed chicken, stirring continously til nearly cooked through.

  2. Add Onions and finely chopped cloves of Garlic till lightly caramel

  3. Drain waterchestnuts and add, allow to sautee.

  4. Note at this point add the Hoisen sauce HOWEVER, I use 2tbsp. of Hoisen sauce (not 5) and 2 tbsp. of Oyster Sauce(both found in Oreintal section of store). This site did not have oyster sauce and its nutritional value available so I put 5tbsp...because they are quite similar in values.

  5. Prepare LO MEIN NOODLES (also not available under this site)according to package direction, drain well, then add to recipe, cook together for 1-2 minutes, stirring continually.
