Recipe Ingredients for Garlic Butter Noodles with Scallions

8 oz. Spaghetti, Whole-wheat, Dry
3 tablespoons Butter
1/2 c Chopped Green Onions
3 cloves Garlic (minced)
2 tablespoons Brown Sugar
1 teaspoon Soy Sauce
1 tablespoon Oyster Sauce

Recipe Directions for Garlic Butter Noodles with Scallions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain into colander and wipe the noodle pot clean.

  2. Return pot to stove on med-high heat and add butter. When the butter is sizzling and bubbling a bit, add garlic and green onions. Cook and stir for a minute or two until very fragrant, but be careful not to brown.

  3. Stir in brown sugar, soy sauce and oyster sauce. Add noodles, mix very well and serve.
