This way of cooking broccoli leaves it still a little crisp and not mushy. It makes a good side dish with pasta.

Recipe Ingredients for Garlic Broccoli

32 oz Broccoli, Flower Clusters
4 clove Garlic
2 1tsp Olive Oil
0.13 tsp Sea Salt
0.13 tsp Pepper, Black

Recipe Directions for Garlic Broccoli

  1. Fill a medium sized pot with water.á Bring it to a boil. áPlace the broccoli florets in the water & boil it for about 30 seconds, then remove from the heat. áAllow theá broccoli to set in the pot completely submerged & continue to cook in the hot water for about 5 to 10 minutes so it is par boiled. áWhen ready, drain the water out of the pot. á

  2. Lightly coat the bottom of a large fry pan with olive oil. á Place the crushed garlic into the oil and turn on the heat. áStir olive oil and garlic for about 2-3 minutes until the whole skillet is hot, then, add the broccoli. áSautÚ the broccoli for 3 to 5 minutes, then serve.
