Pizza dough recipe from our bread makers recipe book. This recipe yields two pizza crusts. (2 12" pizzas at 8 slices each = 16 servings)

Recipe Ingredients for Garlic Basil Whole Wheat Pizza Dough

1 1/8 cup water
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 1/2 cups Gold Medal Better for Bread Flour
1 1/2 cups Gold Medal Whole Wheat Flour
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp dried basil
1 tsp garlic powder
2 1/2 tsp yeast

Recipe Directions for Garlic Basil Whole Wheat Pizza Dough

  1. Combine ingredients in order listed in bread maker or make dough by hand.

  2. Heat oven to 400 degrees and grease 2 cookie sheets.

  3. Divide dough in half.

  4. Pat each half into a 12 inch circle on cookie sheet with floured fingers.

  5. Spread with favorite toppings.

  6. Bake on lowest oven rack 18-20 minutes or until crust is light brown.
