A refreshing, no salt, salsa that was made from the things in my garden. Very good on pita bread with just a sprinkle of Parmesain cheese if desired.

Recipe Ingredients for Garden Fresh Salsa

1 large onion, diced
1 large tomato, diced
1 jalapeno pepper, diced
2 cloves of garlic, diced
1 T fresh bay leaves, diced
1 tsp fresh sage leaves, diced
1 T fresh oregano, diced
1 sprig fresh parsley, diced
1 Pepper to taste

Recipe Directions for Garden Fresh Salsa

  1. Dice all the ingredients into a bowl, add pepper to taste. I put it in the refrigerator for a few hours to let the flavors marinate together. You can also add sweet peppers, or what ever you want to put in your salsa.

  2. Also, putting hummus on the pita bread and putting the salsa on that was very good too.
