From Goya Chick Peas 1 lb. 13 oz. can

Recipe Ingredients for Garbanzos and Chorizo

2 tbsp. olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1/2 green pepper, finely chopped
1/2 pound chorizo, half of one diced other two quartered
1/4 cup tomato sauce
29 oz. chick peas

Recipe Directions for Garbanzos and Chorizo

  1. Heat oil in large saucepan over medium heat.

  2. Add garlic, onion, green pepper and chorizos; cook until tender, about 8 minutes.

  3. Stir in tomato sauce; cook 3 minutes.

  4. Stir in remaining ingredients, including 1/2 packet of Goya Ham Concentrate.

  5. Reduce heat and simmer covered for 25 minutes.

  6. Serve over hot white rice.
