From the _McDougall Program for Maximum Weight Loss_. Left out the potatoes. Add 1/4 tsp tumeric powder as well.

Recipe Ingredients for Garbanzo Curry

1 medium onion
1 bell pepper
1/3 cup water
1 tsp curry powder
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1/4 tsp pepper
2 1/2 cups water
15 oz garbanzo beans
1 tbsp cornstarch
2 tbsp water, cold

Recipe Directions for Garbanzo Curry

  1. Soften onion and green pepper in 1/3 cup water.

  2. Mix cornstarch and 2 tbsp cold water and set aside.

  3. Add in seasonings, remaining water, and beans into onion and pepper mix and cook for 10 minutes.

  4. Add cornstarch mix and stir until thickened.
