Soup with Chick peas - low in bad carbs

Recipe Ingredients for Garbanzo Bean Soup

15 ounce of chick peas
15 ounce of diced tomatoes
1/2 medium tomato, diced
2 garlic cloves
1 green onion
1/4 medium red onion, sliced
2 cups chicken broth
1 cup water
1 tablespoon Extra virgin olive oil
1 Salt and pepper to taste

Recipe Directions for Garbanzo Bean Soup

  1. Saute garlic, red onion for 1 minute in EVOO.

  2. Add tomatoes, green onions and chick peas.

  3. Stir for a minute.

  4. Add chicken broth and water.

  5. Season to taste with your favorite spices.

  6. Bring to a boil.

  7. Let simmer to texture of onions.
