A light, yellow-curry-flavored sauce with garbanzos and tomatoes. 1-cup serving size.

Recipe Ingredients for Garbanzo Bean Curry

1 medium raw onion
2 cloves garlic
3 1/2 cup Organic Chick Peas
2 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp ground coriander
1/2 tsp Turmeric, Ground
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp Cayenne
2 large tomatoes

Recipe Directions for Garbanzo Bean Curry

  1. Chop onion and garlic. Steam-saute in a non-stick pan.

  2. Add chick peas (two cans, including liquid) and seasoning. Simmer over medium heat 10 minutes or more.

  3. Add diced, fresh tomatoes. Simmer for 10-15 minutes longer.

  4. Serve over brown rice or steamed potatoes.
