A yummy granola to eat by itself or as cereal. This is a double recipe.

Recipe Ingredients for Ganola with dried friut

5 c Rolled Oats
1 c Wheat Bran
1 c Wheat Germ
2/3 c Almonds
2 t cinnamon
1/2 c honey
1/3 c Safflower oil
1 c raisins
1 c Cranberries
1/2 c Flax seed (whole)

Recipe Directions for Ganola with dried friut

  1. Preheat oven to 300*

  2. Mix rolled oats, wheat bran, wheat germ, cinnamon and almonds in a bowl.

  3. In a small sauce pan heat oil and honey, until small bubbles develop on sides.

  4. Add liquid to dry ingredients and mix well.

  5. Spread evenly on a shallow pan lined with foil.

  6. Bake for 40-50 min until golden brown, stirring every 10 min.

  7. Once cooled add raisins, Cranberries and flax seed, mix well and store in an air tight container.
