Costa Rican Staple Food, but made w/brown rice.

Recipe Ingredients for Gallo Pinto

3 cups Rice, Brown, Medium-grain, Cooked
2 cups Beans, Black, Mature Seeds
4 oz onion
2 1/2 oz celery
1 tbsp oil
1 tbsp bouillon

Recipe Directions for Gallo Pinto

Saute onions and celery (chopped) w/2 cloves garlic in a tablespoon of oil. Add rice, then bouillon and stir until heated throught. Then add black beans and stir until all is well combined and hot. Garnish w/fresh chopped cilantro. Can be eaten alone or w/a friend egg for breakfast.
