Cilantro pesto Chicken with Hot Garlic sauce

Recipe Ingredients for Gai Yahng Grilled Chicken

1 tsp black pepper
4 tbs cilantro, chopped
2 tbs fresh garlic, chopped
2 tbs low sodium soy sauce
1 tsp salt
4 lb Chicken, meat only
1 tbs brown sugar
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup white vinegar
2 tbs fresh garlic, minced
1 tsp salt
1 tbs chili sauce

Recipe Directions for Gai Yahng Grilled Chicken

  1. Cilantro Pesto Marinade: combine first 5 ingredients in blender. Blend until smooth and rub on chicken. Marinate 1-2 hours or overnight

  2. Hot garlic sauce: combine remaining ingredients in a sauce pan. Simmer for 20 minutes.

  3. Cook chicken on grill. Serve with hot garlic sauce
