Thai Chicken and Basil 15g = 1 tbsp minced garlic. Handle chilis carefully-the oils stick to your fingers...be careful what you touch before you get the chance to wash your hands.

Recipe Ingredients for Gai Pad Gapow

16 oz Chicken, ground, raw
3 serving (Oyster) Fish Sauce
7 pepper Peppers, Hot Chili, Red
15 grams Garlic
2 cup leaves, whole Basil, Fresh
2 tbsp Olive Oil

Recipe Directions for Gai Pad Gapow

  1. Heat oil in skillet to med-high.

  2. Mince garlic and chilis.

  3. Clean basil and pick leaves from stems.

  4. Fry garlic and chilis until garlic just starts to turn brown.

  5. Add ground chicken Stir constantly, breaking chicken up. Keep stirring til meat is brown and juice is almost gone.

  6. Add fish sauce, stir

  7. Add basil and stir turning over 3 or 4 times. Remove from heat and serve.
