Recipe Ingredients for Fruity Waffles

2 cups flour
2 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 3/4 cup skim milk
6 tbsp vegetable oil
2 large eggs
1/2 cup strawberries, pureed

Recipe Directions for Fruity Waffles

  1. Place all ingredients in a large mixing bowl and combine until well blended and smooth. Let batter sit for 5 minutes before using.

  2. Preheat your waffle iron to the desired setting.

  3. Pour 1/2 cup of the batter into the center of the lower grid; spread evenly using a heat proof spatula.

  4. Close cover of the waffle iron, if you have an indicator light on your waffle iron open it when the light comes on, if not wait about 2 minutes before opening.

  5. Carefully remove the baked waffle, and repeat with the rest of the batter.
