A basmati rice pilaf with grapes, cranberries and pecans.

Recipe Ingredients for Fruity Rice Pilaf

3 cups cooked brown basmati rice
1 cup red onion, diced
3 T margarine
1 1/2 cup grapes, red, halved
1/2 cup dried cranberries
2 T balsamic vinegar
3/4 cup chopped pecans, toasted
1/2 t salt

Recipe Directions for Fruity Rice Pilaf

  1. Cook the rice according to directions on package.

  2. Saute onion in butter. Add other ingredients; cook stirring often until thoroughly heated.
