you can use any kind of fruit. red grapes, apples, apricots, pears, etc.

Recipe Ingredients for Fruity brown rice

4 tsp honey
2 small peaches
1 c blueberries
1 large banana
1/2 tsp table salt
1 c brown rice
1 c fat-free milk

Recipe Directions for Fruity brown rice

  1. in medium saucepan, bring milk and 1 1/2 c to boil.

  2. add rice and salt. reduce heat and simmer, covered, until liquid is absorbed, about 12 min.

  3. when rice is done, stir in banana, blueberries, and peaches. divide among 4 bowls and drizzle with honey.
