Recipe Ingredients for Fruity Bran Muffins

1 1/4 cups whole-wheat pastry flour
4 oz oat bran (1/2 cup)
1/4 cup wheat bran
2 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp canola oil
2 tbsp honey
1 egg
2/3 cup nonfat milk
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/2 tsp cinnamon
2 medium bananas, mashed (medium ripe)

Recipe Directions for Fruity Bran Muffins

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease muffin tins.

  2. Stir together all dry ingredients. The remaining ingredients and stir just until blended.

  3. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes.
