Savory brown and wild rice with fruits and herbs

Recipe Ingredients for Fruited Rice

1/2 c brown rice
1/2 c wild rice
2 1/4 c water
1 green onion
1 T parsley
1 t thyme
40 g dried currants
60 g cranberries
50 g dried apricots
1/2 c orange juice

Recipe Directions for Fruited Rice

  1. Cook rice in water with onions for 45 minutes.

  2. Add herbs, fruit, and juice. Cook for 15 minutes until rice is tender.

  3. Serving = 200 g
