Recipe Ingredients for Fruit and Spicy Nut Trail Mix

1/2 c cashews
1/2 c almonds
1 tsp olive oil
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 c peanuts
1/4 c roasted sunflower seeds
1 c dried apricots
1 c raisins
1 c dried apples
1/2 c dried corn

Recipe Directions for Fruit and Spicy Nut Trail Mix

  1. Preheat the oven to 375F.

  2. Combine the first nine ingredients in a small bowl, and toss until blended.Place the coated nuts on a small nonstick baking sheet and bake at 375F for 7-10 minutes until roasted, turning the nuts once about halfway through.

  3. Combine the spicy nuts and the remaining ingredients in a medium bowl and stir to combine. Store in an airtight container.
