Easy, yummy, but guilt-free home baking :D

Recipe Ingredients for Fruit and oat slice

2 cups rolled oats
1 cup self-raising flour
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup honey
6 tablespoons low-fat margarine
1 egg white
1/2 cup sultanas
1/2 cup dried apricots, chopped

Recipe Directions for Fruit and oat slice

  1. Melt the mararine and honey. In a large mixing bowl combine rolled oats, flour, sugar and dried fruit. Add the spread and egg white to dry ingredients. Combine well. Press mixture into a sprayed baking tin/dish and spread the mixture evenly.

  2. Bake 20-25 minutes on 180C until golden brown. Only when the mixture is cold should the slice be cut, otherwise it will break.
