Homemade version of the kind found at the Golden Arches

Recipe Ingredients for Fruit and Nut Oatmeal

2 1/2 c water
1 1/2 c oatmeal
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 c cranberries
1/2 c maple syrup
1/2 apple, diced
3 tbsp chopped walnuts

Recipe Directions for Fruit and Nut Oatmeal

  1. Bring water, salt, cinnamon, vanilla, and cranberries to a boil. Add oatmeal and maple syrup. Cook 5-10 mins, stirring occasionally.

  2. Divide into three servings, and top with apples and walnuts.
