Basically "Fruit jerky"- Just like the ones you buy in packages :)

Recipe Ingredients for Fruit Leather

1 cup apples, pureed (or other fruit- pears, raspberries)
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup sugar or liquid honey (artificial sweetener may be used)

Recipe Directions for Fruit Leather

  1. Peel, core and puree fruit. Place fruit in saucepan and add water. Cook 5 minutes. Stir to prevent burning. Add sugar or honey. Cook until sugar is dissolved. Red food colouring may be added.

  2. Cover baking sheet with plastic wrap Spread fruit mixture over plastic wrap as thinly as possible. Place sheet in oven on its lowest heat, overnight. When dry, roll up the fruit.
