This recipe is delicious, simple, and quick. The end result is like a smoothie, only frozen. AND, for a generous 1 cup serving, there is only one gram of fat and almost 4 grams of protein. Enjoy!

Recipe Ingredients for Fruit Icecream

1 cup blueberries
1 cup raspberries
2 bananas, frozen
1 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt

Recipe Directions for Fruit Icecream

  1. Chop the two frozen bananas. (The pieces don't have to be too small, but they shouldn't be huge either.)

  2. Put the chopped frozen bananas, blueberries, raspberries, and yogurt into a food processer. Blend until reasonably smooth.

  3. Transfer the mixture into a freezable container, and place in the freezer for at least two hours, or until it reaches your desired consistency.

  4. In this recipe, the blueberries and raspberries can be substituted for by other fruit such as peaches or strawberries.
